Happy Monday all! I hope you all had a great weekend! I did a little shopping and picked up a black blazer, grey vest, a purple paisley shirt, and a p[air of grey tights. Pretty exciting yeah? Well, this is the best part- I got it all for less than $20.
Which leads me to this weeks tip- don't be afraid of thrift stores! yes, they can overwhelming, but with a little patience, and sifting through those racks you can make all kinds of good finds. I bought an H&M cardigan from one for like fours bucks. They're a treasure trove of retro and modern clothes. And you're going to pay a lot less than a vintage store, or in the mall.
Also, don't be afraid to look in the guys clothes. Sometimes exactly what you're looking for could be there (a nice pair of boyfriend jeans or a band t-shirt, perhaps?). There are a ton of different ways you can make whatever you find fit you better, by adding a belt, or actually sewing it in a different shape (like this- http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/1Jra9J) And, if you're not as skin as some, this could be a great place to find new clothes.
