Movie Time!

Hey guys. I'm terrible sorry for the fact that I haven't posted in like three weeks. I've been back at school for the last two weeks, and between getting back into the swing of classes, settling back into my room, catching up with friends and just general bullshit that's been going on, I haven't really had a chance (or the energy) to write a blog post. But things have settled down and I'm in the process of cleaning up the messier parts of the last two weeks so I got this now.
This last weekend was much needed honestly. I finished all my homework by Thursday so I could just enjoy it, and boy did we have a great weekend. Friday we took a walk through the woods on campus, I got some coffee with some good friends, watched Ghost Adventures and V for Vendetta all night.
Saturday we watched a lot more ghost adventures, then went to see The Grey and ended up sneaking into The Woman In Black afterwards.
The Grey was absolute fantastic. I absolutely love Liam Neeson, and despite misleading advertising most of the movie there are several other major players on the screen at all times. Yes, it's a little predictable, I'll admit it, but the action is paced really well and there is a bit of a twist at the end that threw us all a bit. The camera angles made it a little difficult to watch some scenes and tell what was going on, but it ended up being more emotional than I'd thought it would be and better than I'd expected expected. I thought it was a fantastic movie.
The Woman In Black. Holy. Crap. Again, why better than I'd ever expected it to be. First and foremost, I did not spend the whole movie thinking "Oh my god it's Harry Potter." I have never found Dan Radcliffe as attrative as he was in this movie. His acting was phenomenal, and the movie was very well written and paced. It doesn't take much to scare me, and I was scared shitless. I really enjoyed the movie, despite my fear, and again, the end threw me for something of a loop.
So, go see! Have a great week and stay classy and nerdy my friends.
Love,
Nerdinista
