I hate ordering things online. And now, my hate is backed up by experience.
Update on the KONY thing from the other day: I finally got in touch with a real person. Turns out that they are not allowing orders to be cancelled now, got my address thing worked out and it should be here soon. The lady I talked to on the phone was very nice, but it probably had something to do with the fact that I probably sounded like I was literally ready to kill someone. I pray to god.
Then I ordered a few things off of Etsy a few weeks ago (if you are unfamiliar here is a link to my profile from which you can check out the rest of website- http://www.etsy.com/people/darthcyprus?ref=pr_profile). I ordered two pocket watches from a girl in China, which should be here in the next few days. I can understand why those have taken so long. But what doesn't make sense to me is the bracelets I ordered from Texas. I will admit that I made a custom order so I expected it to take a little longer. She promised they would be ready to ship last Monday. Today is Thursday, a week and a half later and I finally got them. I wouldn't have been so irate about it had one not been a present.
Moral of the story- I hate waiting for things and I hate the internet.
